????USTC's graduate enrollment hit a record high this year. By the end of September, the total enrollment of graduates topped 1976, including 1267 master degree candidates (99 MBA candidates), 455 doctor degree candidates and 254 master degree candidates in software engineering.
????The admission ratio of master degree candidates has been up 23.6% over last year. In all the recruitments, about 72.7% are regular graduate students. 643 master degree candidates graduated from USTC, among whom 313 are recommended for admission without taking National Entrance Exams and 100 of them were among the top 5 students in the undergraduate study. USTC this year received 24 master degree candidates recommended by other universities for admission. The enrollment of doctor degree candidates increased by 13.7% this year. The number of master-doctor degree candidates reached 276. The admission ratio of doctor candidate in autumn is 3.37:1, the highest in the university's history. | |
