On 20th, May, the representatives of Department of Thermal Science and Energy Engineering and Guangzhou Energy Research Institution come to common understandings on scientific research, talents breeding and disciplines construction, and then they sign an all-over cooperative agreement. The executive president of USTC Engineering Science School, Prof Yang Jiming chairs the signature ceremony.
President Wu Chuangzhi of Guangzhou Energy Research Institution introduces the general information about the institution, mainly concentrating on demands in energy field and its future development plan, including key policies, future developing strategies of the institution. President Wu points out that USTC has advantages of basic theories and scientific ideas, and the institution has sound superiorities in application research and technologies integration, so both sides can bring preponderances into play and develop mutually.
