| Delegation from Sinochem and Shengli Oilfield visited USTC |
????On February 26th, heads of Sinochem and Shengli Oilfield visited USTC. Prof. Fan Weicheng, Vice-President of USTC, and Prof. Chang Yinfe, Chair of the School of Earth and Space Science, met with Qian Ji, Chief Engineer of the Oilfield Department of Sinochem, Jiao Daqing, Director of the Oilfield Department and other delegation members. The two sides exchanged views on cooperation and joint research. Heads of Division of Science and Technology of USTC and relevant departments also attended the meeting.
????Vice-president Fan Weicheng and Chief Engineer Qian Ji introduced the basic situation of USTC and Sinochem respectively at the meeting and agreed to cooperate further in the fields of robot, software design, material science and fire science.
????The guests visited the Chemical Geo-dynamics Lab, National Fire Science Lab and National Synchrotron Radiation Lab after the meeting.
