????The Bureau of Top 10 China / World Scientific Development Selection held a news briefing in Beijing. The top 10 pieces of news of scientific development of China were announced and the awarded issued. Because the project of "Scientists successfully acquire direct observation on the internal structure of molecular" entered the rank of top 10 Scientific Development of China, USTC President Zhu Qingshi attended the press conference and was awarded the Cup on behalf of the research group.
????The press conference was presided by Mr. Shen Baogen, Vice Secretary General of CAS. The Party Secretary of the Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE) Xu Kuangdi announced the results. President of the CAS, Prof. Lu Yongxiang delivered a speech to comment the scientific development in China and all over the world. President Zhu was on behalf of those groups that were invited to deliver a speech in the banquet after the press conference.
