On 23^rd, March, the inauguration meeting of establishing "Wikipedia Physics Research Center" is held in USTC modern physics department conference room.

 

 

USTC Secretary Guo Chuanjie first thanks Academician Zhan Wenlong and Secretary Xie Ming from Lanzhou National Laboratory of Heavy Ion Accelerator for their visits. He points out that, although Modern Physics Institution is under the western disadvantageous environment and conditions, the scientists of the institution still strive for the success relying on the rigorous scientific attitude and tenacious work. Guo Chuanjie appreciates that the staff in the institution have made first-class academic achievements and raised a scientific team who can be able to win the tough battle. He also stressed that, USTC Modern Physics Institution possesses the same properties to the institution, so the establishment of "Wikipedia Physics Research Center" will be a real strong-strong union. So he hopes that both sides can raise more talents and achieve more research results resting on long-term cooperation foundation, in order to advance the CAS Information Innovation and make the contribution for the country development.

 

 

After the inauguration meeting, Academician Zhan Wenlong and assistant president Xu Hushan have made the splendid academic reports for faculty and students of the Sciences School, and they give the warm welcomes and high praises to the reports.
