On the afternoon of October 16th, Francoise Bevalot, president of University de Franche-Comte paid a visit to USTC.
USTC vice-president Cheng Yi met with the president and introduced to her the scientific and research as well as the curriculum development work recently carried out at the university. During the meeting, president Francoise Bevalot briefed the developments in the key disciplines of Franche-Comte University, namely, micro-mechanical technology, optical technology and distant communications. In a friendly atmosphere, the two sides talked about the issues concerning the implementation of cooperative research between USTC and University de Franche-Comte and the programme to foster Master's students in alliance. During her stay at USTC, president Francoise Bevalot visited the Open Lab of Bond-Selective Chemistry and Open Lab of Quantum Communications and Calculations. | | |
