"Beijing Electron Position Collider" (BEPC II) Reconstruction Project headquarters invite 12 experts from abroad and home, as to convene "BES III Electronics System International Examination Meeting" in Beijing-based Institute of High Energy Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IHEP). There are three systems developed by Nuclear Exploration Technology and Nuclear Electron Joint Laboratory (USTC branch) passing the examinations, which are μ-electron readout system, TOF electron system and TOF triggering subsystem.
On 22nd, October, all the experts hear the "μ-electron readout system" research report delivered by Liang Hao and Liu Baoying, and then check the technical materials as well as watch the on-the-spot demonstration. After full discussions, the expert group appreciate that the μ-electron readout system design learns the experience from the world state of the art peers, so it is more reasonable. The front part of the system has been successfully installed on the detector. It satisfies the design requirements through the tests. Meanwhile, the experts put forward several suggestions.
Moreover, the experts examine the comment on the TOF readout electron system, TOF preposition amplifier and TOF timer system by the same way. After the meeting, USTC- IHEP joint laboratory scientists give the two-day technical lecture under the invitation of IHEP. Prof. An Qi delivers a series of reports named "Considerations on Signal Integration of PCB Board Design" and he carries out the academic exchanges with researchers and graduates on technical problems in the high speed circuit field. |
