In order to promote exchange and cooperation and improve mutual academic levels, vice president of USTC, Hou Jianguo signed an agreement on exchange and cooperation with Hong Kong Baptist University on April 13. On the basis of equality and mutual benefit, the agreement specifies regulations on how the two sides should develop academic exchange and cooperation in the fields of sciences in the future. According to the agreement, the two universities will exchange related research and teaching materials, send scholars to each other for short-term academic exchanges, visits or lectures and encourage short-term exchanges between graduates of the two universities. The agreement has become effective with a period of validity of 3 years. | |
