| USTC Academic Journal won 1st Award of Outstanding Scientific Journal of Anhui Province |
????In order to further promote the quality of scientific journals, the Science & Technology Bureau of Anhui Province organized the 4th Outstanding Scientific Journal Selection in December 2001. The USTC Academic Journal won the 1st prize for its excellence. There are only eight 1st prize winners among 60 journals all together.
????In addition, Yuan Kelin of the Edition Department of USTC Academic Journal was awarded the "National Outstanding Editor" by the Research Center of Natural Science Journals of High School of China.
