Employment Talks Held for 2002 USTC Graduates

Employment talks for the 2002 USTC graduates were held in the university stadium from December 1st to 2nd. Employers from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Ministry of Space, Ministry of Information Industry, the PLA, institutes of higher learning and more than one hundred high-tech enterprises from Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen attended the talks with about 2000 USTC graduates.
Owing to the fact that USTC graduates have long been recognized for their overall quality, solid theoretical foundation, wide adaptability, strong sense of innovation and staying power, USTC graduates have been earning many commendations both at home and abroad for their Alma Mater. Consequently, USTC graduates are always highly sought after. This year was no exception.
Altogether there will be 2522 graduates from USTC in 2002, of whom 660 are post-graduate students. About 1300 USTC graduates will engage themselves in different professions after their graduation from USTC and the rest will further their studies both at home and abroad. Since Nov. 20th, more than 60 employing units have come to USTC to employ 2002 USTC graduates. More than 20 world-renowned companies such as P&G, Hua Wei, Acer and Intel Technology, have held special talks for USTC graduates in the hope of engaging them in their team work.
