It is announced by Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council of the People's Republic of China, CAS "Talents Project" selective Prof. Wu Mian from USTC Life Science School is honorably awarded first Overseas Chinese Outstanding Career Establishing Prize and invited to awarding ceremony held in Beijing on 29^th, September 2005.

 

This prize founded by Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council of the People's Republic of China aims to commending professionals who come back from abroad to China and score superior achievements. There are 100 persons getting awards. Most of them study abroad after China's opening-up to overseas and then live there to work. Late 10 years, they back to China to carve out their own business and make significant contributions to China's science and economy development.
