| Three research groups became "Innovation Research Group" of NNSF |
????Three research groups of USTC were selected and listed in the "Innovation Research Group" which will get financial support from the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NNSF) after a series of evaluations. The three groups are: the group lead by Prof. Hou Jianguo, bases on the key Lab of Structure Analysis of CAS and the key Lab of Bond-Selective Chemistry; the group headed by Prof. Shi Yunyu, bases on the key Lab of Structural Biology; and the group supervised by Prof. Guo Guangcan, bases on the key Lab of Quantum Information. They will receive RMB1, 200,000 Yuan per year for 3 years respectively.
????There are altogether 20 Innovation Groups which will get such financial support. USTC has the largest number of such groups in China.
